Michael A. Moriarty was born in St. Louis, Missouri July 7, 1942. He attended Spring Hill College in Alabama where he graduated in 1964 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He went on to attend law school at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas where he became a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honor fraternity (Magister, 1966-67, Outstanding Senior 1967), receiving his law degree in 1967. Mike was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1967 and The State Bar of Colorado in 1985. He has also been admitted to practice before U.S. Supreme Court; U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit, U.S. District Court, Southern and Western Districts of Texas. He’s Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Personal Injury and Trial Law and is a member of the Houston and American Bar Associations; State Bar of Texas; College of the State Bar of Texas; Texas Trial Lawyers Association and The American Association for Justice. Mike’s 40 years of experience has given him an extensive knowledge of Texas Law which he uses to help injured people fight their battles against corporate giants. Mike is a board member and the attorney for the Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP). He and his wife, Melna, are long-time animal rights advocates and have lent their support and their home to foster rescued animals. Mike and Melna have 4 children and 3 grandchildren.
Wade D. Moriarty was born in San Antonio, Texas on March 25, 1967. Wade attended Texas A&M University and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 1989. He earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law in 1993. Wade was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1994. He is also admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. He is a member of the American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Houston Trial Lawyers Association and the Houston Bar Association. In addition to his law practice, Wade is legal counsel and CLE presenter for Media Masters, a public relations and marketing firm exclusively for attorneys. His speaking engagements include: Wade has also published the following article: "Winning in the Court of Public Opinion," which appears in the November/December 2007 issue of The Houston Lawyer. Wade has an AV Peer Review Rating, which is the highest rating given by LexisNexus Martindale-Hubbell. The AV Peer Review Rating, which identifies a lawyer with very high to preeminent legal ability, is a reflection of Wade’s expertise, experience, integrity and overall professional excellence. Wade has also been recognized as the legal expert for 790 AM sports radio, and can be heard giving commentary on various legal issues on their morning show. Wade finds time during his very active trial docket to volunteer with Aspiring Youth of Houston, an organization that offers various mentoring programs for at-risk, inner city, middle schools. Wade and his wife Rose were Volunteers of the Year in 1998, chaired the inaugural Aspiring Youth Gala in 1999, and were the Silent Auction chairs for the Gala in 2003. Wade and his wife, Rose, have two children. The family loves to play sports, go to the movies, and hang out with family and friends. |
